The fundraising committee was set up in March 2008 in order to try to raise some additional funds to help the club get through the difficult time ahead when the RCP finally closes for refurbishment. It is planned to use the funds raised to help finance the relocation of the springboards to another venue and to help with the creation of a dry dive facility within Edinburgh or the surrounding area. We are also hoping that the various swimming associations will see that we have some concerned parents of children who are determined to continue to participate and enjoy their chosen sport and to be ready for when the RCP reopens whenever that date will be.

There will be a sponsored walk on Saturday 11th September at 10am over the Forth Road bridge. We will be walking over the Bridge and then walking back. Meeting Point:- The South car park by the Bridge Masters Office at 09.30 sharp. 3 miles in total.
All divers must be wearing club tracksuits but also make sure you are warm as it may be windy and chilly. ALL DIVERS UNDER 12 YEARS OLD must be accompanied by an adult. Parents, siblings, friends and dogs welcome. Sponsored forms are available here and will also be emailed out. They will also be available from reception at Newbattle. If at all possible can sponsor forms and dosh be brought either on the day or be handed in to Debbs, Sue, Donald or Kath at the pool the following week.
The committee are always open to any fun ideas that any of the club's parents or kids have to raise the funds that the club needs. Also if anyone is interested in becoming more active within the Fundraising scene they are more than welcome to come forward and join the committee.
