Fundraising Team
The Fundraising Team is made up of many parents from Edinburgh Diving Club, lead by Louise Smith. Rosie Slade is the fundraising coach lead. Many other people give their time as well to support fundraising activities and this is greatly appreciated.
All divers are expected to contribute wherever possible. For example, helping out for a couple of hours at bag packs, sponsored events, selling raffle tickets, attending social/fun events and bake sales.
What does fundraising help with?

Fundraising activities help to subsidise kit, equipment and trips for the club.
The international trips receive the normal club subsidy and in addition to this, the parents of the participating divers are encouraged to get together to do specific fundraising in order to help bring down the cost of these trips.
It is advisable to appoint one person to be the group coordinator to liaise with Nicola Nearn (trips coordinator, [email protected]) and Louise Smith (fundraising lead, [email protected]) to find out more about target funds and how best to fit these fundraising events into the Edinburgh Diving Club calendar and prevent duplication with core fundraising events.
